Do we really need a remake of a two-year-old movie? Hollywood sure thinks so, which is why Let Me In hits theaters October 1st. This remake of a foreign masterpiece stars Kick-Ass’s Chloe Moretz, which nets it some major bonus points with me, and Kodi Smit-McPhee. You can check out the trailer for the remake below, or you can, y’know, watch the original Let the Right One In on Netflix since it’s only two years old!
Release Date: Oct 1, 2010
Starring: Chloe Moretz, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Richard Jenkins
Director: Matt Reeves
With the way the remakes are going in Hollywood, you can look for a remake of this remake in 2013.

I love the original. I’m waiting for this one with curiosity moreso than actual anticipation. I just don’t get the rush to remake a movie so recent. Same goes for “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.” I know some folks don’t like subtitles but if it’s that big of a deal for you, just put on the English track.
