This Week on Attack of the Show! Action Flick Chick Covers Dallas Comic-Con (Video)

This week the G4TV series Attack of the Show! ran my coverage of Dallas Comic-Con. This embedded video doesn’t include the nice setup by Olivia Munn and Kevin Pereira and their quick reactions afterward, but it does have plenty of me, not to mention superwomen, Zombie Wranglers, Steve Niles (30 Days of Night, Criminal Macabre), and a dirtyminded droid. I’d originally pitched this to AOTS as an opportunity to compare advantages and disadvantages of a smaller con while San Diego Comic-Con International was still fresh on people’s minds. The advantages were clear, as I hope to illustrate further in the future with material that didn’t get used on air. The hours of material I’d recorded got boiled down to a single 2-minute segment, but I’d known ahead of time that’s how long it would be.
Back on August 5, these twitter contacts posted tweets saying that the G4TV Attack of the Show! should send the Action Flick Chick to cover Dallas Comic-Con. Little did they know that later that week, the Chick actually lined this up.
