Sigourney Weaver, Eliza Dushku, Zoe Saldana, and Elizabeth Mitchell. What do all these names have in common? They’re all women who kick a lot of ass! And I was super pumped to be at this panel during Comic-Con 2009. All of these women have set good examples for women everywhere by playing strong female roles in movies or TV shows, and done quite nicely showing Hollywood that women have what it takes to “run with the big dogs” and basically kick a lot ass along the way.

You know, when I hear that a movie is coming out, and it’s supposed to be very educational and inspiring, I usually say, “Screw that.” Really, that’s what I was saying to the new animated film Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey. However, after sitting through the panel for that movie at SDCC, I will keep from making such rash judgments… for now.

During Comic-Con, the Action Flick Chick discussed twitter and superpowers with the original TV Batman himself.
After his surprise appearance as part of a San Diego Comic-Con International panel analyzing the Joker with Jerry Robinson (the Joker’s creator), Michael Uslan (The Dark Knight producer), and psychologists Travis Langley (Papa Llama of rocketllama.com) and Robin Rosenberg (The Psychology of [...]

I’ve gotten opinions on what the worst superpower would be from a number of celebrities, and as soon as Comic-con 09 wraps up I’ll post them all.

Have you ever wondered what the Green Goblin would look like as a woman? Nope, me either, but The Boondock Saints just throws it in your face like a monkey flinging poo at you. You’re just making cute noises at the monkey and then you’ve got poop in your face. You’re just watching a movie than then you’ve got Willem Defoe in drag kissing a man!

I always love to think about what it would be like to have a superpower and which superpower would be the most awesome to have. You would think that just having a superpower would be balls to the wall awesome, but then I really thought about it. Not all superpowers are great to have.
